John Adams
Presidential
Dollars

A selection of John Adams Presidential dollars. On 17 May 2007, John Adams $1 Presidential dollar coins were officially released to the public; many have been found with significant mint errors that may command a numismatic premium. Think you've discovered an error John Adams dollar coin? Have a smooth edge (also, Godless) dollar (i.e., no motto, year or mint mark) or a double inscription coin (i.e., two mottos, years and mint marks)? If you don't see what you're looking for, please submit your want list. Thank you.

Please note: Normal (i.e. correct) Presidental dollar coins are gold only in appearance (that is, gold-colored); they are actually made of copper and manganese brass. Also, silver-plated, colorized or otherwise embellished (i.e., intentionally altered) Presidential dollars are not official U.S. Mint products, and though they are collectible, they should be viewed as numismatic novelties having minimal or no numismatic value.
