Lincoln Memorial Cents

The obverse of the Lincoln Memorial Reverse cent (1959 to date) was designed by Victor D. (David) Brenner (1871-1924; he also engraved Wheat cents); Frank Gasparro (1909-2001) designed the reverse. The Lincoln Memorial cent was introduced in 1959 on the 150th anniversary of Lincoln's birth. Gasparro's initials are on the reverse at the bottom of the memorial (to the right).
